For Roberto Cavalli
Flair Studio collaborated with Milanese practice Italo Rota for the designs of Hotel in Dubai for the Roberto Cavalli fashion brand. While Italo Rota was responsible for the Hotel exteriors as well as the entrance and all the common areas, Flair Studio designed the 55 suites of this boutique Hotel, the first large hospitality project of the brand, developed partly with bespoke items and partly integrating elements from the home collection.
Below is showcased the junior suite of 55 Sq meters, the smallest of the Hotel, which features a bespoke shelving unit which connects and separates the living area from the master bedroom. Special attention was given to the bathroom, a bright space enclosed in bronzed glass screens, featuring a mosaic wall from Sicis and bespoke taps from Gessi. Decorative elementd from the Home Collection such as lighting, upholstery and bed lined alternates with Iconic elements of the brand which where introduced within the Montenapoleone flagship store.
The project didn’t go ahead, mostly due to the complexity of the site, a former theater building to be converted into a Hotel with a smaller theater venue.
