We have just completed the Celia Kritharioti Showroom at 65 Sloane Street, Chelsea. It is a temporary space overlooking the beautiful Cadogan Place gardens and a stone throw from the flagship stores of Hermes and Dior. We worked together with SoprisbyBT and lighting designer Anna Sboku on this exciting new showroom project which showcasese Celia Kritharioti’s houte couture, the red carpet, the bridal and ready to wear collections, as well as the kid and the accessories.
The high ceiling space of the listed building has been enhanced by adopting punctual illumination highlighting mostly the products but also the architectural features, including the 3 meters high fireplace and a few artworks. The spotlights are on tracks to allow for flexibility but also to preserve the features of the listed building. The existing office flooring has been re-carpeted with a beautiful wall to wall silky white carpet by Stark.
A seating area with a Vladimir Kagan like curved sofa is inserted in the bow window overlooking Cadogan Place and a glazed screen separates a multi-purpose room which can be used as a meeting room as well as a fitting room for private sales or during showcase events. It’s been great to collaborate with Celia’s team to create the Celia Kritharioti showroom in London.
